Since the summer of 2020, PAC Sweets has been making a delicious difference in the lives of our customers through our unique, tasty creations, mainly our fluffy birthday cakes & cupcakes, as well as our other range of available desserts.
One night, one cake: that's how this all started. In the thick of our 2020 home quarantine (April), on a whim, I (Patteson) decided to try and construct a beautiful rainbow-layered cake. While this first cake wasn't anything remarkable, it fueled me to make another dessert, then another. Pretty soon I was experimenting with dozens of recipes and trying to bake all sorts of sweets. I had always enjoyed being in the kitchen when I was younger, but now I was attempting to turn this interest into a passion. Eventually, I brought in my two siblings Alice and Charlie, and together we started selling fudge, safe-to-eat cookie dough and custom cakes, the first of which was for my sister's close friend Abby.
Fast forward two years, and we had sold our treats off-and-on, until business was permanently re-ignited by one of my peer's request for a cake for his advisory at school. Since then, it has been Alice and I loving the work we get to do in the kitchen, the amazing customers we get to share it with, and everything else this is attached! In just a short six months, we have done 60+ cakes, three weddings, and countless other small orders of sweets. We are thankful for the opportunity to be able to pursue our passion and hope you all will join us on this amazing ride.
Alice and I make everything in our small kitchen right here in Richmond Virginia, and all of our baked goods are 100% homemade and from scratch. As bakers, we uphold a promise that everything made in our kitchen is only created from basic kitchen ingredients - no mixes allowed!
